    Inspired by peculiar everyday moments,  quiet humour and the surreal nature of human emotionsWhen not in studio you can usually find Emilia wild swimming in the Cornish waters or wandering through Finnish forests.
    Emilia Wharfe is a Cornwall/London-based illustrator and animator with a background in narrative-led projects. Their work spans from children’s books, graphic novels, branding/identity and visual storytelling for film and performance.

    They bring over a decade of experience in visual story telling to each commission and continues to develop their own manuscripts and independent projects. Emilia is available for commission work, collaborations and creative partnerships.

    Supporting creatives in developing their visual voice, creative confidence and practice. I offer thoughtful guidance for neurodiverse creatives, helping them navigate ideas, processes and creative challenges in a way that works for them.

    Lectures & workshops

    Sharing approaches to observation, illustration and visual language to help people develop their creative thinking. I also teach digital workflows and Adobe Creative Suite, supporting artists, students and creative teams in developing practical skills.
